Notes

Notes are where your study lands. They autosave, they're searchable, and they connect themselves to the passages you cite.

Writing

Notes support headings, lists, bold and italic, quotes, and Scripture blocks. Type / for the command menu.

Every note saves as you type. There is no save button, and closing the tab mid-sentence doesn't lose the sentence.

Anchors

When you cite a verse in a note, Selah files that note under the verse. Later, reading that passage, you can see what you've already written about it. You never have to tag anything — the anchors come from what you wrote.

Folders and kinds

Folders are yours to arrange. A note's kind (sermon, study, devotional, reflection) tells Selah what shape it is, which changes how it's summarised and how the companion uses it.

Captures

A quick thought doesn't need to be a note yet. Captures go to your journal, and you can file several into a real note when you're ready.
