Getting started

What Selah is, and the first thirty minutes with it.

Selah is a place to study the Bible and prepare what you'll teach. Reading, notes, prayer, and an AI companion live in one workspace, so preparing a sermon or a small-group study doesn't mean six browser tabs.

Your first thirty minutes

  1. Open the Reader and pick a passage you're already working on this week.
  2. Highlight a phrase that matters. Selah remembers where you've been.
  3. Start a note beside the passage. It saves as you type.
  4. Ask the companion a question about what you just read.

That's the loop. Everything else in these docs is detail on one of those four things.

What Selah is not

It isn't a commentary, and it won't tell you what a passage means. The companion asks questions and surfaces what you have written before. The interpreting stays yours.
