Connectors
Using Selah from Muse, Claude or ChatGPT — what the connection can do and how to remove it.
Selah can be connected to an AI assistant you already use. Once connected, you can ask the assistant to read scripture, save a note or prayer, or mark today's reading done, and it happens in your Selah account.
Where it works
- Meta Muse — search for Selah in Muse's connector directory.
- Claude — add Selah as a connector in Settings → Connectors.
- ChatGPT — add Selah from the connectors list.
Each one asks you to sign in to Selah (or create an account) and to allow the connection. Nothing is shared until you do.
What the assistant can do
Read scripture (Berean Standard Bible, World English Bible, King James Version), look up cross-references and original-language words, search and read your notes, add to a note, save a capture or a prayer, update a prayer's status, and start or keep up a reading plan.
What it can't do
It can't rewrite or delete existing text in a note, change your settings, or read any other translation than the three above. Those stay in Selah itself. It never sees another person's notes — every tool acts only on the account you connected.
Removing the connection
Disconnect Selah from inside the assistant (Muse, Claude or ChatGPT each have a connectors page). The assistant loses access within a minute; nothing you saved is removed.
