The companion
What the AI companion does, what it won't do, and how it uses your notes.
The companion is a study partner, not an oracle.
What it does
- Answers questions about a passage you're reading
- Asks you questions back, to push your thinking further
- Finds things in your own notes you'd forgotten writing
- Drafts from your material when you ask it to
What it won't do
It won't hand you an interpretation as settled fact, and it won't speak as though it has spiritual authority. When something is genuinely contested among faithful readers, it says so instead of picking a side.
Question mode
The companion can ask more than it answers. You control how often — turn it up when you're studying to think, down when you're studying to finish.
What it can see
Your notes, your captures, and your highlights, so it can be useful about your actual study. Nothing you write is used to train a model.
