Terms of Service
Last updated June 19, 2026
These terms govern your use of Selah, a Bible-study workspace operated by Benske & Co. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information, and let us know if you spot unauthorized use.
Acceptable use
Don't use Selah to break the law, abuse others, or disrupt the service. Specifically, don't:
- attempt to breach security, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the service;
- resell or redistribute the product without permission;
- upload content you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful.
Your content
Your study — notes, captures, prayers, conversations — belongs to you. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display it back to you, and to run the features you use (such as sending your messages to our AI provider to generate a reply). We don't claim ownership and we don't use your content to train AI models.
Subscriptions and billing
- Free tier is free, with usage limits described on our pricing page.
- Selah Plus is $9/month or $90/year, with a 14-day free trial. You add a card to start the trial; if you don't cancel before it ends, the subscription begins.
- Billing is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Cancel anytime from Settings — you keep access through the period you've paid for. Annual plans include a 30-day refund window. If you're ever charged by mistake, email us and we'll make it right.
Availability
We work to keep Selah running but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
Disclaimer and liability
Selah is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months. Scripture study and reflection are personal; Selah is a tool to support your study, not a substitute for your own discernment or pastoral care.
Termination
You can stop using Selah and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; you can export your notes before you go.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll update the date above and notify you where appropriate. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
