Selah's companion reads your study — your notes, captures, and prayers — and nothing else. It asks the question a good study partner would, shows you where it found it, and will not write your sermon.

How it listens
Most AI assistants hand you content. Selah's companion is Socratic on purpose: it draws out what you already think, presses where your reasoning is thin, and surfaces what you wrote three months ago when it's suddenly relevant. The theology that comes out of a session is yours, because it went in as yours.
It's grounded only in your own study — never the open web — and it shows its sources, down to the note and the date. It does real work, too: file a prayer mid-conversation, save a capture, draft a reading plan for your season, or turn a session into a note.
Socratic on purpose
Ask it about Romans 8 and it won't lecture — it will ask what draws you to the word "all", or what you meant in the note where you wrote "I don't believe this yet." Slash commands set the mode: /interview to develop a thought, /prep for teaching, /reflect to look back, /sharpen to have a belief pressed.
It knows your study, not the internet
Context comes from your notes, captures, prayers, and past conversations — retrieved by relevance, not just recency — and every reference is cited back to its source. You control the memory note by note: switch "Use in Selah's memory" off and that note stays out.
On the web, beside every page
The full companion screen pairs the conversation with a living note that takes shape as you talk — end the session and keep the note. A quiet dock also rides along on every page, aware of the passage or note you have open, so a question never requires switching rooms.
